Under bad, it says it needs a device to activate recording capabilities. Does this mean I won't be able to take pictures? What does it actually
The way I read it, you need either of the two devices, to make the Archos a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). DVRs are typically used to record TV shows. You will be able to take pictures without the DVR recorder.
Both units are pretty much the same.
