Owners of Barnes & Noble Nook color now have a new option to turn their e-readers tablets Android on its own.
Sold by a company called Nook2Android, SanDisk microSD card preloaded with Gingerbread Android 2.3 Android Market and essentially transforms readers Color Nook tablets Android.

The specs for the big Archos Gen 10 XS tablet are unknown yet, but the promo video (see below) did tease that it’ll be just 7.6mm thick, which is pretty thin. By comparison, the Motorola Xyboard 10.1 is 8.8mm while the new iPad is 9.39mm.
Most of Archos’ tablets are priced absolutely cheap, but some bloggers are already wondering if Archos will make this one a bit more expensive to make up for the detachable keyboard. That can’t be cheap, especially if it includes extra battery power like the one used by the ASUS Transformer or the lapdock laptop docks used by the Motorola mobile phones. Also, the ASUS Transformer uses some hefty graphics technology from NVIDIA. If Archos wants to replicate that in the Gen 10 XS, they’ll have to price their tablets higher than usual.
