What basic HIGH capacity mp3 players are there?
I am very sad at the demise of my trusty 6-year old Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen 60GB (I fell on it whilst kiting). However, it seems that there are no mp3 players which match my spec.
I'm looking for:
- large capacity (ideally over
definitely go for "Samsung P3":
-great audio
-ability to create playlists on the player itself
-it even has an external speaker, widgets and other things.

Creative Zen X-Fi 16 GB Video MP3 Player with Wireless LAN and Built-In Speaker
The grid of nine key 4 directions and a center "select" button, and on many menus and lists of the diagonal four buttons act as home / end and PageUp / Down, but on many screens, they are useless. If they were customizable they could be very powerful! Faster search, view toggles, many possibilities, if they were customizable. Firmware update maybe?
I have long fingers and big hands and the player is comfortable to hold, but the buttons are small and indistinct, you need to focus a bit to make sure you press the right if you are fishing for the previous track / next / volume up / down keys in your pocket. The pause button is a must though, and is the most important.
The Zen Vision: m vertical slider with side to side rocking and touchpad to select press was really perfect for an audio player, and I find myself missing it a lot (but I do not miss a player poor battery life, large ogreish or watch)
One disappointment: In any case the screen are buttons on the grid used to refer to a specific function on a grid on the screen (which would open some of the menu very fast and intuitive), arrow keys are always with a selection center, and sometimes other use diagonal buttons.
