I can usually make a netflix movie start by unplugging the router for a few seconds and/or turning off and on the Blu-ray player two or three times. What gives?! My wireless router is unsecured, so that is not an issue, and the player always says it

Answer Actually, having an unsecured router IS an issue. A VERY BIG issue.

If it's unsecured (open, no password) then anyone can connect to your router and use your internet connection for anything at all without your knowledge or permission!
