I just bought Insignia bdlive01 blu-ray player. It will play a blu-ray disc, but a normal dvd gets ejected.?

This player will play a blu-ray disc, but it trys to load a normal dvd and then ejects it

Answer This is not how it should work. Check a couple of different DVDs that you know work. If they all do this, I would return it for a new one.

Stuff like this happens, the DVD read head could be malfunctioning. This would mean it doesn't recognize
