Son - In - Law hooked it up for me, using the HDMI cable. But, the video it puts out looks no better than regular television broadcast. I was expecting some thing spectacular, and did not get that. So, is the Blue Ray plug and play, or do I have adjustments

Answer I have read some reviews of this product. You do need to go through the setup menu and make sure you have all firmware updates, once they're available.

You have an HD TV, so the resolution you see depends on the source. A regular DVD
