Frequently asked questions Rolling, rumbling noise from computer speakers?

I have a set of 2.1 Insignia "/Insignia/insignia-speakers-2.1/">speakers for my computer. Up until recently they have worked fine. About a month ago, they started making a constant rumbling noise.

Answer Since you mention that the blue power light flickers along with this noise, I'd say the power adapter to the speakers is either faulty or is just loose. This happened to my Altec Lansing speakers once. I had to replace the power cable. Try to reposition
