Yesterday we told you how shocked we were to see that the Google App + iPhone would not run on the iPod Touch, even the fourth generation models, and now we can confirm that if you have a jailbroken iPod Touch application can be installed via installous.
If you have a jailbroken iPod Touch chances are you have installed Installous (you can find it via Cydia), once you have access to launch the application Installous, press Browse, scroll down and you should see a category called "Social Networking" exploit this once the list appears, you should see the Google + app (you may need to scroll a bit) + slap on Google and select download your iPod Touch will now download and install + Google. Note: If you get an error "API" Try again by typing "apps, and updated" over and over.
