Answer There`s a problem with your power button, it either needs to be replaced or resoldered in it`s place. That can be easily done if you know how to take it appart, have a soldering station and know how to use it. This usually happens if you press the button

    if i have an auxiliary inlet for a car stereo , can i use the auxiliary wire for it on an mp3 player?

    Yes, you can plug any MP3 player (or anything really) to the AUX IN jack on the back. Usually, will be taken TO RCA cables, just buy an adapter cable (like $ 5 at Radio Shack) that has a headphone plug on one end and RCA plugs on the other. According to the head of unit you have, you can find a setting in the menu to enable the AUX IN port, consult the manual for your car if you can not find this setting.
