How can you tell if a laptop has had a remote kill versus damage? I can't get it to boot up?
I found a laptop on the road. It was powered on and logged in and in fact open, when I found it, and was still rocking, so obviously it had just slipped off the top or trunk of a moving car because of how it was found, and apparently had just happened

Dell's New XPS 13 A Skinny Winner
It boots in a scant four seconds – less than a second if it’s in sleep mode. It’s razor-thin. (My M1210 wasn’t.)
It’s light, weighing less than three pounds due to its materials including machined aluminum, lightweight carbon fiber and hardened “Gorilla glass” – and the glass is spill-resistant.
It weighs a cat’s whisker under three pounds, its battery lasts up to eight hours and you can configure it with either a 128GB or 256GB hard drive. Its screen is 13.3 inches, it features an Intel Core i5 processor, 128GB SSD hard drive and 4GB of memory.
Its best feature, though, is its usability for the average Joe or Jane who care some but not too much about the guts of their machines – they just want a light laptop that has a lot of stuff they need and use, want it to boot up quickly and work quickly.
