    30 for 30: iPods

    Like everyone, I received an iPod. It has changed the way I listened to music.

    I was planning this blog for the latest in the series but circumstances decided otherwise. My iPod is dead. Gone. Just wiped to zero. 5 years meter reading, art, playlists, etc. - nothing more.

    It was a silver medal 160GB "classic" - which appear dated when it came out. He traveled everywhere with me, and I used it for about 5-6 hours a day - at least. In the last week, the battery life was about half an hour, and it would turn off without reason.Until today, when he decided to give up the ghost for good.

    So, goodbye iPod. 24,000 songs, all the parties. It was fun.

    I was late to the iPod. Most of my friends had one by the time I did. I even bought one for a friend before I was one for me. I really decided to do one when I decided to do some traveling. So I bought a 60GB one, in 2005.

    So what's Apple's plans w/ the iPod Classic? I say they stuff a 1.8" 160gb hard drive into an iPod Touch! I'd buy that.
