Frequently asked questions Okay, so I am getting a new 64 gigabyte iPod Touch. Can you help me with a question about sharing a library?

My sister and I share a library, but will I still be able to get applications and whatnot on mine if her iPod is a classic? Would this work, or would I have to get my own library, which is not an option. Or would this work and there is some way for me

Know an answer?

Our well-attended GamesBeat Conference 2011 was held this week, and here's what you missed.

As I noted in a story overview of mobile games, the conference was all about the battle for control wide open for the emerging mobile gaming market. Highlights below the onset time of the speakers. It's a long story, but it will tell you what the conference was like in case you missed it.

    Fireside chat with Brian Farrell

Brian Farrell (left), CEO of THQ, opened the conference, replacing Bing Gordon, the partner of Kleiner Perkins has been muzzled because Zynga (where he serves on the board) has filed papers to go public. Farrell admitted having "wanted to market valuation" (share price of less than startups THQ many games), but said that once you go public, someone will put a price on all your company day whether you like it or not.He said he intended to come to GamesBeat anyway (before he was asked to speak) because his company made its move into the digital game and wants to be part of the conversation alongside startups games .
